Matthew J Hofbauer

Matthew J. Hofbauer of Croydon, PA passed away peacefully on November 14, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was 80.  Born and raised in South Philadelphia before moving to Bucks County 44 years ago.  He was employed as a model maker for Paramount Industries, Ralph James Studio and A & B Pattern Making before he retired.  Matt enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood working, model airplanes, photography and home improvements but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his youngest sister Margie Hofbauer.  Matt will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 44 years Brenda, his children Laura Land and her husband Jeffery, Harold Causey and his wife Cindy, Sherry Wadlington and her husband Bubba, Susan Morgan, and Matthew Hofbauer.  He will also be greatly missed by his grandchildren Shawn, Jessica, Stefanie, Scott, Jennifer and Andrew, also his four sisters, Theresa Scott, Dot Joynes, Gert White and Julia Knowlton.  Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 10 – 11 am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057. Interment will be held private.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to American Lung Association, 55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601.
