Edith Jardine, age 93, died peacefully Friday afternoon, Oct. 14, 2016, at the home of her daughter Tina Moyers and son-in-law Jeff Moyers, surrounded by her loving family.Edith was born Dec. 29, 1922 in the coal-mining town of Minden, West Virginia, the daughter of Sante Morlack and Lesundrina Marini Morlack.  The second of 6 children, she lived from an early age in Burlington, NJ, and following her marriage lived in Bucks County.She was preceded in death by her husband Anthony Jardine, originally from Bristol.  They met at the Kaiser-Fleetwings plant in Bristol during WWII, where they both worked to produce military products.  As a homegrown "Rosie the Riveter," Edith made parts for military airplane wings for 3 years, rising to the level of A-1 Mechanic.Edith and Anthony married in June 1945 near the completion of his service in the U.S.Navy.  They began raising their family in Bristol, moving eventually to Levittown.  Her life was dedicated to her family, who loved her dearly and will miss her.For over 60 years she was an accomplished bowler who collected trophies and prizes in league and tournament competition throughout the area.  As a girl she played baseball with the boys and prided herself on being an early pick when teams were chosen.  She faithfully watched every Phillies telecast game right up to the close of the just-completed 2016 season.Edith is survived by a sister, Dolores Waskiewicz of Burlington, NJ; and a brother Glenn Ronald Morlack of Burlington, NJ.  Also surviving are her 6 children:  Edie Jardine, Carroll Valley, PA, and husband Dan Mangan; Tony Jardine, Perkasie, and wife Kim; Denise Gratkowski, Bensalem, and husband Bob; Debbie Tretter, Langhorne, and husband Matt; Sante Jardine, Croydon; and Tina Moyers, Langhorne, and husband Jeff; 13 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tues., 6:30pm-8:30pm, and Wed., 8:30am-9:15am, at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Rd., Levittown, PA 19057.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am at Our Lady of Grace Church, 225 Bellevue Ave., Penndel, PA.  Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
