Lillian S. Pitts

Lillian S. Pitts (Simon) passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Chandler Hall Hospice Center, Newtown, PA.  She was 73.  Born in Philadelphia, PA on September 23, 1943.  She was a longtime resident of Levittown for 47 years, before that growing up in Feasterville and Bethayres.  Lillian was the daughter of the late Benjamin Simon and Lillian M. Simon (Hamilton) of Feasterville, PA also Tuckerton, NJ.  She is survived by two daughters Renee Pitts and Michelle A. Hopwood (Rodney) both of Levittown.  She is also survived by her four loving grandchildren Rodney Jr (Diana) Hopwood of Bensalem, Nicole M Hopwood of Levittown, Tyler B. and Brett A. Pitts of Levittown.  Also survived by her two sisters and their family, many cousins and friends.  Lillian worked for Cenlar FSB the past 25 years before retiring this past July.  Before that she worked in the nursing field and waitressed for Friendly’s.  When her daughters were younger she was an active girl scout leader and a cookie sales representative for the Lower Bucks area in the early 80’s.  She will be sadly missed by her loving family and friends.  Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, October 10, 2016 from 11 – 1 pm at the Galzerano Funeral Home 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 190057.  In lieu of flowers, her daughters request that memorial contributions be made in her name to Chandler Hall Hospice, 99 Barclay, Newtown, PA 18940.
