Joan M Fahnestock

Joan M. Fahnestock of Bristol, PA passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown surrounded by her loving family. She was 83. Born and raised in Shenandoah, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ladislaus and Anna Kowalick. Joan enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City and Parx Casino, crossword and word search puzzles but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Elmer of 53 years. Joan will be greatly missed by her children Bruce Fahnestock and his wife Sharon, Glenn Fahnestock and his wife Karen and Carol Bartol and her grandchildren Glenn, Jason, Sarah, Victoria, Daniel, Jeffrey, Rachel, and Ali Jo. She will also be greatly missed by her great grandchildren Julian, Evan, Gavin, Elizabeth, Evey, Thomas, Mackenzie, Cooper, Harper Rae and her brother Joseph Kowalick and his wife Marie. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday morning from 8:00 – 9:30 am at the Galzerano Funeral Home 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am at Queen of the Universe 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Chandler Hall Hospice Pavilion.
