Vincent J. Lucisano Sr.

December 14, 1928 — August 20, 2016

Vincent J. Lucisano Sr., of Levittown, PA, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 20, 2016 at Immaculate Mary Home in Phila. He was 87. Born and raised in Tullytown, PA, he was a U.S. Army Veteran who served as a medic in the Korean War. He was employed at his family business as a Yard Foreman at Lucisano Brothers Inc. Vincent enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, and enjoyed taking trips to his house in Charleston, South Carolina with his family; but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his brothers Frank, Charles, John, and Louis Lucisano; sisters Mary Cicconi, Lucy Whitcomb, Rose Wing, and Helen Giantomass; sons-in-law Mark Richardson and Joseph Davis; and his faithful dog Trixie. He will be greatly missed by his devoted wife of 62 years Dolores (nee: Springer); his children Vincent Jr. and wife Patricia, Susan Lucisano Richardson, and Lori Davis Waters and husband Robert. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren Vincent III, Melissa, Jenna (Gary), and Jason (Angela); great grandchildren Shaylyne, Ava Marie and Cecelia Kilner, and Mark and Shane Richardson; and many nieces, nephews, and good friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call Thurs., August 25, from 8-9:30am, at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road, Levittown. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Levittown. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
