Jeannie M Straley

Jeannie Marie Straley, born November 16, 1950, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016 at Lower Bucks Hospital at the age of 65, surrounded by her family and friends. Jeannie was a caring individual who loved horses, gardening, and family. Growing up and throughout life Jeannie loved to spend time watching, riding, and raising horses. Jeannie loved spending time with her children and riding her horse Jet Set. When she wasn’t with her horses she loved to spend time in the garden. Jeannie spent hours in her garden growing things from flowers to fresh vegetables. She loved to be surrounded by beautiful flowers and spending time in the garden. Gardening was also another way to teach and spend time with her family. She was family oriented and loved to be with her family. Family traditions and holidays brought joy to her. It created life time memories. Watching her family grow, and seeing them together meant the world to her. Jeannie was a kind, caring, loving, big hearted, special person with a bit of an extra flare. She will be greatly missed and has touched the lives of everyone that has known her. Jeannie is preceded in death by her parents Edith and Raymond Straley Sr; her grandson Tj (Thomas Jr) Ritchie; nieces Rosemary and Cheryl Straley; and her brother-in-law Carmen Triano. She is survived by her husband and life time partner George Tahinos. Her children: Jeannie Olsen (Mark Olsen), Raymond Barnett, Anthony Barnett, Veronica Straley, Jacob Nichols and Katie Scuderi (Neil). Her brother Raymond Straley Jr, and her three sisters-in- laws Despina Triano, Ann Young and Goldie Straley. Jeannie is also survived by 20 of her grandchildren: Leann Ritchie (Andy), Amanda Ritchie (Rob), Theresa Ritchie (Junior), Lisa and Michael Ritchie, Jessa Olsen (Billy) and Mark Olsen Jr (Sadie). Along with Anthony, Veronica, Zach, George Barnett, Sam, and Adam; Dezmond, Frankie, and Skye Smith, Leeam George; and Lacey Barnett. And her great grandchildren: Genesis Nelson; Aidan, Autumn and Angelina Fioravanti; Maria, Mya and Elijah Agosto; Jamiee and Christopher (GusGus) Robbins; Dominic Scuderi; Owen and Devon Olsen. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Raymond Straley III, Dawn, Harikleia and Charlie Triano; and many other family members and friends. Jeannie will be greatly missed and forever loved by many!
