Alberta Fanini

Alberta “Bert” Fanini (nee: Dymond), age 78, passed away peacefully at home on Wed., May 27, 2009 surrounded by her family. Born and raised in Noxen, PA, she has been a resident of Bristol Boro since 1952. She was an employee of the former Kaisers in Bristol. Bert was a fun-loving and loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved cooking, baking and traveling to the shore with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Ugo “Gene” Fanini; her infant son John Fanini; and son Gary Engelman. She will be greatly missed by her children Loren Fanini and Melanie of Morrisville, Robin Fanini and his wife Teresa of Bristol, Valerie Lynch of Bristol and Richard Engelman and his wife Janice of Wilkes-Barre; her adoring grandchildren Michele, Terri, Richard, Shane, Kelly, Jamie and Sean; and great grandchildren Brittany, Jeremy and Turner. She is also survived by a brother Richard and sisters Dolores, Janet and Bernice; and many loving nieces, nephews and good friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sat. 8:30-9:30am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe St. in Bristol Boro. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am at St. Ann Church.
