William T. Leone

William “Ted” Leone age 69 of Bristol Boro passed away peacefully on Monday, June 6, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he met the love of his life on the boardwalk of Wildwood, NJ, was married in 1968 and lived happily ever after in Bristol Boro. During the Vietnam War, Ted served with the 1st Infantry (the big Red One) and received numerous citations. After his discharge from the army he worked for Federal Steel for a short time and later was employed at the Bucks County Correctional Faculty for 23-1/2 years. After a five-day retirement he begin a new career with the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission until his last retirement in March of 2016. Ted enjoyed deep sea fishing, shooting at the gun range, and going to the casino’s but most of all he loved his devoted family. He was predeceased by his parents William Leone and Jane Trayband. Ted will be greatly missed by his wife and best friend Roseann (nee: Rappo), his loving children John Leone of Hamilton Square, NJ and Jennifer Leone. He will also be missed by his devoted grandchildren John Jr. and Stephanie Leone; and many friends and neighbors. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday 7– 9 pm and Friday 8:30 – 9:30 am at Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA 19007. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Ann Church, 357 Dorrance Street, Bristol, PA 19007 at 10:00 am. The family would like to thank Compassionate Care Hospice and Lower Bucks Hospital. Interment will be at Washington Crossing National Cemetery on Tuesday, June 14 where procession will form 12:00 pm at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057.
