Jeffrey Carlton Harris, II

Jeffrey Carlton Harris II of Fairless Hills passed away suddenly Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at his home. He was 28. Born June 18, 1987 in Meadowbrook, and a 2005 graduate of Pennsbury High School, he attended Bucks County Community College in Newtown, and Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, while pursuing a medical degree as a neurosurgeon. Jeff was known as an outstanding role model for his brother and best friend, Chris, love for animals, deeply caring nature, and his loyalty to family and friends, who respected his intellect, wittiness, and contagious laugh. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Martin "Opa" and maternal grandmother, Jeannie "Granny" van Dongen, and his paternal grandparents, John Edward "Ed" and Gloria Ann Harris. Jeffrey will be greatly missed by his loving parents, Jeffrey Carlton Harris, and Debby van Dongen; his brother, Christian Harris; and his dogs, Nusa and Skippy. He also is survived by his aunts and uncles. Linda Bosak (Tom), Robbie van Dongen (Amanda), Ronnie van Dongen (Tina), John Harris (Lisa), and Mike Harris; and his cousins Casey (Luke Shiffner-long time childhood friend), and Nicolette van Dongen who resided with him and his dear friend and cousin, Chelsea "Chels" Bosak; and many more cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday April 23, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Rd., Levittown, PA 19057. Funeral service will begin at noon. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
