Edward Lynn Smith

Edward Lynn Smith of Atlantic City, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, March 14, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Hamilton. He was 71. Born and raised in Philadelphia he has been a resident of Atlantic City for 35 years. He was a member with the Roofers Local 30 Union, and after his retirement he became a tow boat captain for Seatow then Towboat US. He enjoyed fishing and lending a helping hand to others. He is preceded in death by his two brothers James and William Smith. Edward will be greatly missed by his three children Edward Smith, Jr., Lisa Barth and her husband Dan, Krista Smith and her husband Anthony and his 9 grandchildren. He will be also greatly missed by his two sisters Marie and Floss, his brother Bob and everyone that came in and out of the Absecon Inlet. Interment will be held privately in the summer time.
