Eva P. McHugh

Eva "Patty" McHugh of Bristol Borough passed away peacefully Friday, March 4, 2016, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was 67. Born and raised in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Cecelia Bascio. Eva was employed as a credit collector for Sears Roebuck Corporation until her retirement in 2003. Eva was a loving wife and mother whose devotion was always first to her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed as a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William McHugh of 29 years. Eva will be greatly missed by her children, Michael McHugh and his fiance, Bernice Crawford, and Christopher McHugh and his wife, Alison; her grandchildren, Liam and Leah. She also will be greatly missed by her three brothers, Jerome Bascio, Angelo Bascio and his wife, Bonnie, and Joseph Bascio and his wife, Kathy; her mother-in-law, Evelyn McHugh; brother-in-law, Timothy McHugh and his wife, Lois; her sister-in-law, Seretha; her niece, Lisa Mahoney and her husband, Danny; her dearest friend, Maria Chichilitti; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and again from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe St., Bristol, PA 19007. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. at St. Ann Church, 357 Dorrance St., Bristol, PA 19007. Interment will follow at St Mark Cemetery.
