Robert Spiese

Robert V. Spiese of Levittown, PA passed away peacefully on January 4, 2016 at Legacy Gardens in Bristol surrounded by his loving family. He was 91. Born and raised in Philadelphia he was a World War II Veteran who serviced with the U.S. Navy 9th Special Seabees. Robert enjoyed taking trips to Florida, relaxing in the pool, having his feet in the sand at the Jersey Shore and enjoyed his Seabees yearly reunions with his friends. He is preceded in death by the love of his life Florence Spiese for over 60 years, his parents Earl and Ruth Spiese, and his brother Earl Spiese and his wife Edna. Robert will be greatly missed by his children Gale Back and her husband Terry, Eileen Honea and her husband David, his grandchildren David Honea and his wife Ruya, Dania Honea, Katie Gonzalez and her husband Rafael and his great grandchildren Talon and Blake. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday 9:00 – 10:30 am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Rd., Levittown, PA 19057. Memorial Service will begin at 10:30 am officiated by Pastor Chad Braley. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
