Frances E. Moyer passed away suddenly Jan. 1, 2016, at her home in Levittown, with her family at her side. She was 86. She was born Frances E. Shingler, Nov.6, 1929, in Vira, Pa. She married her husband, Earl A. Moyer, in 1948, and moved to Levittown, in 1952. She worked at 3M in Bristol as a packer until 1960, and at Gimbel's department store for much of the 1970s. Frances, her husband, and their two sons spent a majority of their lives in Langhorne, until she and Earl moved back upstate to Reedsville, Pa., in 1995. There they remained until Earl's death in 2005. Frances moved back to Langhorne, to be closer to her sons in 2006. She lived at Heathergate Apartments, where she made many new friends. After her son Terry's death in 2011, she moved in with her son, Brian, and lived out her remaining years happily with him in Levittown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; and her son, Terry. She is survived by her son, Brian; and her two brothers, Bob and Claire Shingler. She loved planting and growing flower gardens, and was always outside on a sunny day. She was a tirelessly hard worker, a beautiful spirit and always remained optimistically happy. She will be dearly and eternally missed. No services will be held. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Bucks County Association for the Blind in Newtown, Pa. in her memory.
