Irene R. Golden

Golden, Irene R. (nee Jadlowski) passed away on December 25, age 90 of Bristol, PA formerly of Philadelphia. Born in Schwenksville, PA the youngest child of the late Albin and Hedwig Jadlowski. Preceded in death by husband John A. Golden, son John T. (Jack) Golden, grandson Daniel G. Dunbar, siblings Stephen, John and Regina Jadlowski, Helen Adams, Emma Jades, Estelle Wilds and Eleanor Bullock. Beloved mother of Kathleen Jefferson (and the late William), Marguerite, Celeste Dunbar (Gary), Robert and Karen (Stephen Sandars). Also survived by grandchildren Christine Jefferson Gontowski (Frank), Kate Goehring (Frank), Susan Anderson (Ken), Christopher Dunbar (Debra), Amanda Follin (Bryan) and great-grandchildren John, Grace, Jeff, Kylee, Walker, Avery, Aidan, Caitriona and Alexis along with many nieces, nephews and in-laws. Irene was a graduate of Kensington High School for Girls where she achieved Distinguished Honors. A long-time employee of the Internal Revenue Service, Irene enjoyed a lengthy retirement doing the things she loved. She remained active and busy with her family and friends clear up to the age of 90. Irene lived a full life and will be greatly missed by all. Services are private.
