Antoinette Valentis

Antoinette Valentis (nee: Moscufo), age 81, peacefully passed away on March 24, 2009 at the Lower Bucks Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Camden, raised in Philadelphia, and later moved to the Bristol area. In her youth, she worked at Purex Soap Works where she met and married the love of her life Andrew, and together they raised their family in the Bristol area. She will be remembered as a very loving, caring, independent, and supportive mother and friend to all who knew her; especially to her family. “Ann” was an avid book reader, gardener, and flea marketer. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years Andrew Valentis; and her brother “Dutch” Moscufo. She is survived by her loving children Stephen and his wife Robin, Christine Hills and her husband Laird, Terri Houston and her husband Steve, Andrew J., Vicky Wilkinson and her husband Joe, and Annmarie Fisher and her husband Brian. She is the beloved grandmother of 17 and great grandmother of 11. She is also survived by her sister Rose Schafle and her husband Bud; a brother David Moscufo and his wife Terry; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday 6-8pm and Friday 8:30-9:30am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Boro. Followed by her funeral Mass 10am at St. Ann Church. Interment is in Resurrection Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations be made in her memory to St. Ann Church, 357 Dorrance St., Bristol, PA 19007.
