Rafaela Sanchez

Rafaela Sanchez of Bristol Boro passed away peacefully on November 16, 2015 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia surrounded by her loving family. She was 87. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, before moving to Bristol Boro 60 years ago. Rafaela enjoyed cooking and cleaning, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Beningo of 49 years, and her daughter Miriam Colon. Rafaela will be greatly missed by her loving mother of 108 years old Secundina, her loving children Benigno Sanchez, Jose Sanchez and his wife Carol, Gladys Rodriguez and her husband Miguel, Gloria Molina and her husband Ralph and her grandchildren Rosi, Carlos, Angel, Steven, Matthew, Amanda, Rafael, David, Miguel, Rachel, Mark and many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday 9 – 10 am at St. Ann Church in Bristol where funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 am. Interment will follow in St. Mark Cemetery.
