Augostine V Marozzi Jr.

Augostine V. Marozzi Jr., age 74, of Bristol Boro passed away on Friday, Feb. 20, 2009 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Bristol Boro, he was graduate of Northeast Catholic High School in Phila. After High school, Gus enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. Upon his return, he was employed at U.S. Steel Fairless Works for 30 years until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of the St. Ann Athletic Assoc. and the Knights of Columbus. He was predeceased in death by his parents Agostino and Caroline (nee: Angelaccio) Marozzi; his recently deceased sister-in-law Gloria Plenski; and his brother-in-law Junior Field. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 46 years Sylvia Marozzi (nee: Field); his children Michael Marozzi and his wife Sissy, Robert Marozzi and his wife Dorcie, Joann Marozzi, and John Marozzi; his adoring grandchildren Robert, Jackie, Paul, Alex, Danny and Kerry Marozzi and Erin and Katie Golden; his siblings Betty Cordisco and her husband Dave, Louis Marozzi and his wife Shirley, Joe Marozzi and his wife Jackie, and Michele Sawyer and her husband Jerry. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Carmella Sassi, Joanne Warner, and Mary Lou Field; and brother-in-law Eugene Field and his wife Mary; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call Mon. 7-9pm and Tues. 8:30-9:30am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe St., Bristol Boro. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am at St. Ann Church.
