Joseph DeLissio

Joseph DeLissio “Fishy”, age 87, of Croydon, PA, passed away peacefully on September 14th at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised in Bristol Borough, and lived there until he moved to Bristol Township 65 years ago. Later, he moved to the home of his daughter in Croydon. Mr. DeLissio was an employee of Patterson Parchment Paper Co. until his retirement. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was predeceased by his loving wife Margaret (nee: Smith); his parents Nicholas and Maria (nee: Sallustio) DeLisa; his brothers Alfred and Lou; and sisters Victoria and Bonita. He will be greatly missed by his children MaryJo Dunlap and her husband Phil with whom he resided, Nancy Wass and her husband Bob of Wayside, NJ, Karyn Schuchardt and her husband Jeff of Greenwood Lakes, NJ. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren Amy, Phillip, and Caitlyn and his great grandchild Calieb; sister Emma Lehrfeld of Bristol; and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, September 18th, 9 – 10 am at St. Ann Church, 357 Dorrance Street, Bristol. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 am at St. Ann Church. Interment will follow at St. Mark Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road Suite 100 Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, 19004.
