Rosella Campbell

July 13, 1936 — September 4, 2015

Rosella Alice Campbell (nee Forgie) of Levittown, PA., passed away peacefully on Friday, September 4, 2015 at home surrounded by her loved ones. Rose was born in Toronto, Ontario on July 13, 1936 then moved to Philadelphia to marry her now late husband Hugh Campbell. A Canadian by birth, but the most patriotic American you’ll ever meet. She retired from Jesse Jones Box Company in 2001 where she worked as a machine operator for over 20 years. After retirement, Rose spent her days tending to her garden with a keen eye on her rose bushes. She had a love for classic movies and you could always find her singing one of her favorite tunes. When a holiday rolled around, you could always count on her home being decorated from top to bottom. The immense love Rose had for her family was undeniable. Rose is preceded in death by her husband Hugh Campbell, her parents George and Sarah Forgie, and Shamus. Survived by her siblings George, Martin, Betty and Wilma. Loved dearly by her children James (Cheryl), Elizabeth (Eric), Edward (Cindy), George (Patty), Hap (Kim) and Sue (Paul). She was the proud grandmother of Rebecca, John, Jaime, Sarah, Tim (Jenna), Amanda (Josh), Brittany (FG), Jillian, Corey, Courtney, Shannon. Rose absolutely adored her great-grand children Breanna, Sean Patrick, Jayceelyn Rose, James Robert, Bailey Kayleen, Juliana Elizabeth and two more on the way. She was loved dearly by all of her nieces and nephews from both countries in which she called home. Though not through blood, Rose was known as Grams to Daniel and Nicholas Cahill. Last but certainly not least, her faithful 4-legged companion who never left her side, Lucky. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday Evening from 6-8 pm and again Thursday morning from 9-9:45 am at the Galzerano Funeral Home located at 3500 Bristol – Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057.
