Carmela Sassi

Carmela Sassi passed away peacefully Thursday, September 3, 2015 at St. Mary Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was 94. Preceded in death by her husband Louis Sassi, parents John and Anna (Flatch) Field, brothers John Jr. and Eugene Field, sister Gloria Plenski, brothers-in-law Don Warner, Gus Marozzi. Carmella is survived by her loving and adored son Johnny Sassi, sisters Joanne Warner, Sylvia Marozzi, sisters-in-law Mary Field, Mary Lou Field, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, godchildren and friends. Born and raised in Bristol Boro, she was a proud parishioner of St. Ann Church, member of Golden Mark’s and the Red Hats. She was a good kid and a great shopper. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday evening, September 7th, 7 – 9 pm and again on Tuesday, September 8th, 8:30 - 9:30 am at Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street, Bristol, PA 19007. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 am at St. Ann Church, 357 Dorrance Street, Bristol, PA 19007. Interment will follow in St. Mark Cemetery.
