Lois J Asta

December 31, 1936 — August 15, 2015

  Lois J. Asta of Langhorne passed away peacefully Saturday, August 15, 2015, at St. Mary Hospital in Langhorne.  She was 78.    Born and raised in Morrisville, Mr. and Ms. Asta raised their children in Bristol Borough before moving to Langhorne in 1972.  She, along with her husband, Benny, owned and operated the Langhorne Hotel for more than 40 years.    Lois was a warm and generous woman who loved traveling with her husband, family celebrations and impromptu visits to the casino.  She also took great pride in being a meticulous homemaker.  One would never question her love for her husband and family.    She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lucilla MacNeil.  She will be greatly missed by her devoted husband of 58 years Benjamin Asta Sr.; her loving children, Thomas Asta and his wife Therese, Benjamin Asta Jr. and his wife, Tammy, and Lisa Boland and her husband, Ken.  She also was a loved by her nine adoring grandchildren, Jessica, Melissa, Tommy Jr., Benjamin III, Ronald, Ashley, Stephanie, Casey, and Christopher; and six great grandchildren.  She also is survived by two sisters, Bobbi Krapf (Leonard) and Judy Bowman (Chuck); and several nieces and nephews.    Relatives and friends are invited to call from 7 - 9 pm Tuesday, at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road, Levittown.  Family and friends also may call from 9 to 10 am Wednesday, at The Church of St. Andrew (old church), 135 Sycamore St., Newtown, PA 18940, where the Mass will be celebrated at 10 am.  Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.    The family requests donations in her name to American Diabetes Foundation, P.O.
