Joseph Ruggieri, Sr.

Joseph Ruggieri, Sr. of Levittown passed away peacefully on July 12, 2015 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown, PA with his loving family by his side. Joe grew up in Bristol and was an employee of 3M Company for many years. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, Dallas Cowboys fan, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Ruggieri, Sr. Joe is survived by his mother Lorraine Ruggieri, Judith (Markle) Ruggieri, his wife of 35 years; his loving children Joseph Ruggieri, Jr. and Jessica Ruggieri; his brother Thomas Ruggieri (Joan) of Texas; his sister Joanne (Joe) Lucas of Newtown; and many nieces and nephews; also his faithful companion “Johnny”. Relatives and friends are invited on Wednesday evening, July 15th 6 – 9 pm and again on Thursday, July 16th 8-9:15 am at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road, Levittown. Funeral Mass 10 am at St. Ann Church in Bristol. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Contributions in Joe’s memory can be made to the American Cancer Society P.O.
