Kateryna Makaryk

Kateryna Makaryk, age 85, of Levittown, PA, passed away peacefully at the Lower Bucks Hospital on Monday, June 8, 2015. Born and raised in the Ukraine, she moved to this area in 1951. She was the widow of Alexander Makaryk to whom she was married for 64 years. She was an original member of St. Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church in Bristol Township. Kateryna was a proud and wonderful women who loved her Ukrainian heritage. She will be greatly missed by her sons Myron Makaryk and his wife Joy, and Nicholas Makaryk; 3 grandchildren Larissa and her husband Frank Leary, Alexander and his girlfriend Kaitlin Bonner, and Andrew Makaryk; her sister Stella Wasylkiw; and nieces, nephews, and many good friends. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Monday, 9:30am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road. Funeral liturgy for the repose of her soul will begin at 10am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Fox Chase, PA.
