Denise Siano

February 20, 1970 — April 26, 2015

Denise Siano, age 45, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bristol, PA, she was a graduate of Bishop Conwell High School, Bucks County Community College, and Montgomery County Police Academy. She worked as a Detective with the Lower Makefield Township Police Department and was an FBI trained Crisis/Hostage Negotiator with the SERT Team and a Senior Polygraph Examiner. She was a member of St. Ann Church, Lower Makefield Police Benevolent Association, FOP Lodge 53, and the American Association of Police Polygraphists. She was an energetic and professional person who used her quiet wit to endear her to everyone she met, both personally and professionally. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, country western music, and was a huge Phillies and Flyers fan; but most of all she loved her families, both biologic and professional. She is preceded in death by her brothers Nicholas Jr. and Joseph Siano; her grandparents Domenick and Immacolata Sorichilli, and Joseph and Connie Siano. She is survived by her parents Nicholas and Antonietta Siano; her sister Ann Marie; her Aunt Rita Murtha; her Uncle Jim Murtha; her nephew Jeff Murtha and Amanda; her cousins Joyce and Sony Hasson, and Joanne Novak; and goddaughter Christine Elberson. She was Aunt Denise to Taylor, Logan, Madison, Maddie, Karaleena, Brayden, Colin, and Blake. Relatives and friends may call Thursday, 5pm-9pm, and Friday, 8:30am-10am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am on Friday at St. Ann Church, 357 Dorrance St., Bristol, PA 19007. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
