Barbara Kruise

November 10, 1937 — April 16, 2015

Barbara J. Kruise, of Bristol Borough, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2015 at Neshaminy Valley Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. She was 77. Born in Waterville, Maine, she spent her early childhood and youth in the Goodwill Home for Children. She then moved to Levittown and attended Delhass High School where she meet the love of her life “Turk”. They settled in Bristol Borough where Barbara enjoyed being a homemaker, wife, and mother for 50 years. Even though she lived with severe dementia for 20 years, she never lost her good spirit and sense of humor; always laughing and having fun with everyone around her. She was close to her family and several dear friends. Her last years were spent at Neshaminy Manor Nursing Home where she was cared for, revered, and loved by all who were blessed with her pleasantness, charm, humor, and wittiness. Barbara is preceded in death by her loving husband Leroy of 50 years; and her beloved sister Beverly. She will be greatly missed by her children Sherry Ryndycz, Michael Kruise, and Mark Kruise and his wife Mary; her grandchildren Derek, Daniel, Donald, Gregory, Melissa, Mark Anthony, and Andrew; and her 2 great grandchildren Carter and Noah. She will also be greatly missed by her brother Robert and his wife Virginia; her cousin Norma and husband Edward; and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may attend her viewing on Tues., 10-11am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road in Levittown, where a memorial service will begin at 11am. Interment will follow at Beechwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Barbara’s name to Neshaminy Valley Nursing Home, 1660 Easton Rd., Warrington, PA 18976.
