June Giallella

June L. Giallella, 81, of Bristol Borough, passed away on March 24, 2015 after a courageous battle with Lung Cancer. June was a lifelong Bristol Borough resident. She was the daughter of the late John and Lillian (Zuchero) Pinelli. She was predeceased by her loving brother Ernest Pinelli; brother-in-law Ralph DiGuiseppe, and niece Marlene DiGuiseppe Stiltner. June was a devoted lifetime member of St. Ann Church, and also a member of the choir there. She was also involved in the Annual St. Ann Carnival where she manned the “Pizza Fritta” stand from when the carnival first started. June also enjoyed casino trips with her husband and friends; but what brought June the most joy in her life was her family and Sunday dinners with them. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 60 years, Frank Giallella; her daughters Debbie Christensen and Joanne Stone Giallella both of Bristol; her adoring granddaughter Melissa Lynch and her husband Mike; and her loving great grandsons Patrick and Jakob all of Levittown. She is also survived by her loving sisters Rose DiGuiseppe and Marion Mattoi both of Bristol; her neighbor and best friend Maryann Lorenzo; and many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, 9:30 a.m., at St. Ann Church, 357 Dorrance Street, Bristol, PA, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
