Helen Hogan

August 27, 1927 — February 13, 2015

Helen Hogan (nee: Whitlock), age 87, of Levittown, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Feb. 13, 2015. Helen worked in the Electronics industry for many years and took great pride in her work and the accomplishments she made for herself and others. She loved to sew and crochet; most especially making gifts for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, as well as others. Helen enjoyed trips to Wildwood, Atlantic City, and the Outer Banks. She liked scratch-off lottery tickets and also helped her son Joe with the Wreaths Across America Program. She was an original Levittown home owner and founding member of Immaculate Conception Church and was a devout Catholic. She was a member of the Queen's Aid Society, Lunch Mom program, a social activities group member, and involved with Boy Scouts Pack & Troop 123. Helen was predeceased by her husband Joseph; her son Patrick; and her daughter-in-law Cindy. She is survived by her children Michael (Claire) of Rheinholds, PA, Joseph Hogan of Levittown, and Helene (Michael) of Voorhees, NJ; her grandchildren Lisa, Shawn (Michelle), Rachelle (Rob), Desiree, Dyan (Orlando), James, Michael (James Lewis Sr.), Joseph IV, and Patrick; her great grandchildren Jonah, RJ, Kayleen, Mason, Owen, Connor, Ricardo, and Gabriella; and many nieces and nephews. Many thanks to Karen Razler, our friend and angel, who has gone above and beyond to take care of our Mom. You will be greatly missed Mom. We Love You! Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Mass at Immaculate Conception Church on Tues. (Feb.24) from 11:30am-12:30pm. Funeral Mass will begin at 12:30pm. Interment will follow Washington Crossing National cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Wreaths Across America, PO Box 233, Newtown, PA 18940-0233 or Wounded Warriors Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
