Joseph John Zabielski

Joseph "Joe" Zabielski passed away peacefully on Friday, January 23, 2015. He was 100 years old. Born and raised in Glen Cove, Long Island, Joe was a plumber by trade and an original employee of Levitt & Sons. He moved his family to Bucks County in 1952 when William Levitt started construction of Levittown, PA. In addition to plumbing, Joe also worked in buying and purchasing for Levitt & Sons. An accomplished violinist, in his younger days Joe played in several bands with his brothers. He lived life to the fullest and always loved to be where the fun was. A life member of the Moose Lodge, Joe also enjoyed gardening and trips to Atlantic City. He always had an active life-style and in his retirement he worked part-time at the Bucks County Courier Times well into his 90's. Joe was preceded in death by his wife Veronica (nee: Chase) Zabielski; son-in-law Daniel Pezzola; grandson Daniel Pezzola Jr.; and granddaughter Lori (Zabielski) Tyler. He is survived by his daughter Janet (Zabielski) Pezzola; son Joseph "Buddy" Zabielski; and son Thomas "Tom" Zabielski and his wife Cynthia (Catania) Zabielski; grandchildren Denise (Pezzola) McCleary, Kimberly (Pezzola) Fox, Rosanne (Pezzola) Forestal and her husband Dave, Tom Zabielski and his wife Lori, Mike Zabielski, Nikki Zabielski and Dave Tyler; 12 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
