Thomas Mike Bevan . . .peacefully walked “left foot” first. . . into the arms of his loving God on Thursday, January 22, 2015. A husband, dad, brother, uncle, friend, a kind, gentle and loving man to this earth, will be greatly missed. The sparkle of his eyes, the warmth of his smile, and his infectious laugh will be with us till we meet again. Mike worked for Keri Systems, San Jose, California for the past 20 years. His expertise, his ability to teach, and his compassion to build relationships, were a testament to his character, integrity and success. He was a friend, to all who knew him. He loved his work, and the company he worked for. He was also a proud member of the Masons, Masonic Lodge in Medford, NJ. Mike loved his family. He loved his friends. He loved nature. He loved movies. He loved animals. He loved The Rolling Stones. He loved cigars. He loved Myers Rum. He loved Sports. He loved Philadelphia. He loved sailing, He loved biking. He loved hiking. He loved turtles. He loved burgers & beans. He loved cruising. He loved the beach. He loved hunting. He loved Tazo tea. He loved floating in his pool. He loved ornery. He loved YouTube. He loved tradition. He loved his iPhone. He loved Chicken Coop coleslaw. He loved house wrens. He loved grilled cheese. He loved tomato soup. He loved simple. He loved travel. He loved Bristol. He loved happy hour(s). He loved his buddies. He loved sunsets. He loved The Academy Awards. He loved chunky monkey. He loved TV. He loved the ocean. He loved birdhouses. He loved giving. He loved Triumph Motorcycles. He loved Wa-Wa tuna hoagies. He loved family vacations. He loved Harry Kalas. He loved big ears. Mike Bevan . . . loved Life . . . and life loved him back. His quirky, superstitious, and traditional ways will always be remembered and treasured. Mike you are our brightest . . sparkliest . . . favorist star . . . we will look up, we will smile and shine, with the light from your love looking back at us . . . forever and ever. Born in Abington, PA, on May 7, 1954, he was predeceased by his loving parents Thomas J. Bevan and Emma Bevan; his grandparents Thomas S. Bevan and Ethel Bevan; his mother-in-law Irene E. Holmes; and sister-in-law Brenda J. Holmes. He is survived by his best friend and wife Dawn I. Bevan of 32 years; his most precious children, daughter Katy E. Lindsay and husband Ian; and son Thomas J. Bevan and fiancé Lauren Rominger; and his first grand baby due to be born June 2015 . . . his precious little peanut. He is also survived by his loving sister Karlyn Petretti and husband Charlie; father-in-law Robert E. Holmes; and brothers-in-law Bobby Holmes and Theodore Holmes; and is sister-in-law Cheryl Cochran and husband Rich Cochran. He was an awesome, fun, and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was adored by his grand dogs, Bingie, Marley, Jobos, Nalu, and his forever loving puppy Lucy Lou. Mike was loved by so many great friends; his old Bristol friends, his Tabernacle friends, his work friends, his friends from close and far. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Mike Bevan on Tuesday, January 27, from 6pm-9pm, and Wednesday, January 28, at 11am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057. A Funeral service will begin at noon in the funeral home.
