Eugene "Gene" Belke

Eugene "Gene" Belke went home to be with our Lord on Jan. 19, 2015 at the age of 82. He was the loving husband of Sandy Belke for 22 years. Born and raised on the family farm in Newtown, Gene was the owner and operator of Belke Towing Business for over 40 years. He had a great sense of humor and you could always depend on him to make you laugh. He was a Army Veteran and was proud to serve during the Korean War. Gene is predeceased by his daughters Mary Kay and Genia, step-daughter Karen, and grandson Dominick Allen. He is survived by his 3 children: Gene Jr., Paul, and Robin, and 4 step-children Corinna, Noreen, Dori, and Eddie. He will be greatly missed by 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Gene is also survived by his brother Fred, and sisters Peggy, Alma, and Mitzi. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wed., Jan. 28, from 7pm-9pm, and Thurs., Jan. 29, at 11am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road in Levittown, PA 19057. A funeral service will begin at noon in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Veteran Cemetery in Newtown, PA.
