Grace Peterson

Grace R. Peterson “Mrs. Pete”, age 93 3/4, of Levittown, PA, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015 at Pickering Manor in Newtown, PA. Born and raised in Perth Amboy, NJ, she was a long-time resident of Trenton, NJ, before moving to Levittown as an original resident in 1952. She, along with her late husband, owned and operated Garden State Sales in Trenton, NJ. Grace enjoyed playing cards with the girls and doing crochet; especially for patients at Pickering Manor where she was affectionately known as the hat lady because of the many hats she made and donated to them. She was predeceased by her husband Harold Peterson “Mr. Pete” who passed away in 1982; and her granddaughter Stacy Lee. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Grace Angelo and her husband Michael “Micky” of Morrisville; and son Raymond Peterson and his wife Diane of Atlantic City. She will also be missed by her adoring grandson, and best buddy, Jason Russell (Karen) and their children Gianna and Jake; and her grandchildren Mickey Angelo, Samantha Martino (Brian) and their daughter Frankie, Jason Angelo and his son Lukas, as well as Olivia and Chase Byrne. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wed., 9-10:30am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057. Interment will follow at Ewing Church Cemetery in Ewing, NJ. The family requests contributions in her name be made to Pickering Manor, 226 North Lincoln Ave., Newtown, PA 18940.
