Baldpossaro Catalanotti

Baldossaro Catalanotti, age 96, of Bristol, PA, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2014 at St. Mary Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Philadelphia, and raised in Bristol Borough, he was a veteran of WWII where he served in the Philippines. He was employed by General Electric in the Space System’s Operations Department, and was personally requested by Rockwell and NASA to assist in the “Waste Collection System” for the space shuttles. Ed enjoyed gardening, playing pinochle, and watching the Eagles and Phillies; but most of all he enjoyed Sunday dinners and spending time with the entire family. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Ida, of 54 years; and his son Louis C. Catalanotti. Ed will be greatly missed by his children Lois Stump and her husband Richard, and Edward Catalanotti and his fiancée Jaydee Staats; his grandchildren Gina Smith and her husband Dave, Lori Soriano and her husband Charles, Carla, Louis, EJ and his fiancée Emily, Rich, and Greg; and great grandchildren Aubrey, Olivia, Louie, Chase, Evan, and Zoe. He will also be greatly missed by his daughter-in-law Jill Catalanotti; and sister-in-law Anna Swank. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thurs.(Jan. 8) from 6pm-8pm and Fri. (Jan. 9) from 9am-10am at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057. Funeral service will begin at 10am in the funeral home. Burial in Bristol Cemetery.
