Edward Lang

December 22, 1945 — October 16, 2014

Edward W. Lang, age 68, of Newportville, PA, passed away on Thurs., Oct. 16, 2014 at St. Mary Hospital in Langhorne. Born in Phila., he has been a Newportville resident for most of his life. He was a former employee of Modern Equipment Handling in Bristol Twp. Mr. Lang was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the VFW Post 1597. He enjoyed fishing; especially at the Jersey shore. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 44 years Anita “Sis” (nee: Schneider); and his son James E. Lang and his wife Mary of Langhorne. He will also be missed by his adoring grandchildren Douglas and Megan. He is also survived by his sister Dorothy (nee: Grew) Barwis and her husband Donald; and his brother James Grew and his wife Dee. Relatives and friends are invited to call Wed., 6pm-8pm, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Rd. in Levittown. All are invited to attend his burial on Thurs., 2:15pm, at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown. The family requests memorial contributions to St. Jude Children Research Hospital Donor Services, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
