William Gross

William "Bill" J. Gross, age 78, of Levittown, PA, passed away peacefully on Sept. 3, 2014 at Crestview Center in Langhorne surrounded by his loving family. The son of Albert & Rose (McHugh) Gross, Bill was born and raised in Bristol, PA. He was a retired employee of Rohm & Haas in Bristol and a former member of Ancient Order of Hibernians. Sharing over 60 years of marriage with his beloved wife Benita (DiGirolamo) they have 4 children: Billy, who passed away earlier this year, Michele Lockwood (Ted), Thomas (Dawn), and Melissa. Bill took immense joy in his 6 grandchildren: Tommy, Kyle, Courtney, Tyler, Casey, and Connor. He enjoyed fishing and spending vacations down the shore with his family. He will be greatly missed by all! Survived by his brother Daniel (Thelma) and many nieces, nephews, and cousins; Bill was preceded in death by his 6 sisters: Agnes, Rose, Frances, Jean, Nancy, and Patricia, and 4 brothers: Albert, Joseph, Robert, and John. Family and friends may call Tues., Sept. 9, from 9-10:15am, at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Rd., Levittown. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am at St. Mark Church in Bristol.
