Nicholas Verzicco

Nicholas P. Verzicco of Levittown passed away peacefully on August 11, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was 69. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he was an employee of Septa until his retirement. He enjoyed watching the Phillies, the Eagles and playing lottery, as well as occasional trips to the casinos; but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Nicholas will be greatly missed by his wife of 43 years, Maryann; his 2 children Lisa Galbraith, and Richard Childers (Robin); his adoring grandchildren Kathryn, Shawn, Kevin, Alexis, Nicholas, Christopher; and great grandson Caleb. He will also be missed by his sisters Carol Campbell (Tom), Shirley Capella, Joanne Gleason (Bill), Barbara Jean Clark, Mary DelBuono (Sam), and Linda Emore (Kevin); and many nieces and nephews. Nicholas is preceded in death by his 2 sons Robert and Macie Childers; his sisters Elizabeth Devine, Elaine Grady, and Diane Verzicco; and brother Richard Verzicco. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, 9-10:30am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol-Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057. Funeral Mass will begin 11am at Immaculate Conception Church. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
