Michael Liberatore

Michael A. Liberatore, age 82, of Bristol Borough, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014 surrounded by his loving family at the home of his son in New Jersey. Born and raised in Bristol Borough, he was a retired employee of Rohm & Haas. Mr. Liberatore was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Knights of Columbus in Bristol and the 5th Ward Italian Mutual Aid. He enjoyed gardening and trips to his home in Delaware; but most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Daniel Liberatore. He will be greatly missed by his wife of over 50 years Margaret (nee: Blascovich) Liberatore; his children Michael J. Liberatore of Sicklerville, NJ, and Robert Liberatore and his wife Donna of Berlin, NJ; and his grandchildren Michael, Timmy, Maria, and Allison. He is also survived by his sisters Jean DiMaio (Tony), and Josephine Huber (Ken) all of Delaware; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wed., ¬¬¬¬¬¬10:00-11:15am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:45am at St. Ann Church in Bristol Borough. Interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
