Pablo Cubero

Pablo Cubero Sr., age 66, passed away May 16, 2014 in his homeland of Puerto Rico. Pablo was born on Jan. 31, 1948 in Isabela, Puerto Rico. He was a resident of Bristol Borough for over 47 yrs. He was an avid fan of all the Phila. Sports Teams. He was a lively person who enjoyed all kinds of music and could often be found telling jokes and making others laugh. Even as a youth, Pablo enjoyed school and learning. He was a highly intelligent individual who remembered everything he read, and could recount historical facts in an instant. Pablo loved life and loved his family dearly. He was predeceased by his daughter Arlene DeCosta who succumbed to Scleroderma in 2010. In addition to his wife Rose, Pablo is survived by his children Wanda E. Ventriglia (Robert), Pablo Cubero Jr., Jason P. Cubero (Joani), Joshua C. Cubero (Lori),and Elvin Jesse Cubero (Amber). He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his uncle Damian Gonzales, sister Virginia Maldonado (Israel G. Maldonado) and his nephews Israel Maldonado Jr., Dennis A. Maldonado, and niece Lissette Carafa (Franceso) as well as his half brothers and sister in Puerto Rico. Family and friends may call Wed. 7pm-9pm at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road in Levittown and also on Thurs. 9am. Funeral service will begin 10am on Thurs. in the funeral home.
