Yolanda Bachstein

Yolanda Bachstein, age 94, of Bristol, PA, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at St. Mary Hospital in Langhorne, PA. She was proudly born and raised in Bristol Borough and attended school there. Yolanda was one of many children of the late Sebastaino and Josephine D’Onofrio. She was a seamstress at the Slip Factory for many years. Yolanda was a fun-loving companion who enjoyed Bingo and frequent trips to Atlantic City, especially with her friend Fran; her grandchildren were the light of her life and she loved their visits. She had overcome many obstacles in her later years and had become a beacon of hope for many. Yolanda was predeceased by many loving siblings and their spouses. She was a caring and incredible Mom to her sons Henry Bachstein (Kristine) and Joey DiNunzio (Bernadette); and also to her nieces Alfreda Dalinsky (Frank) and Joan Wagner (Dave). Her strength, humor, and compassion will be missed by all who have come to know her; especially her grandchildren Kyle and Cory Bachstein, and Joseph and Maryann DiNunzio; and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Gioiella Castor; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tues., 9-10:30am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street in Bristol Borough. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am at St. Ann Church.
