Linda Trimble Zadnik

Linda A. Trimble Zadnik, age 66, of Yardley passed away on Mon., May 12, 2014, at her home surrounded by her loving family after a long courageous battle again lung cancer. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she grew up in Croydon, PA; eventually moving to Levittown, and finally moved to Yardley in 1982. In her earlier years, she was employed as an art designer in Philadelphia which she really loved. Later, she worked as a teacher for Easter Seals in Levittown and eventually was employed for many years as a respiratory therapist at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) until her retirement in January 2012. Linda was an avid gardener, enjoyed horses, and playing with her cat Uma; but most of all she loved her family and traveling to Wellsboro, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, and high school sweetheart, Earl Trimble; her grandson Ean; and her favorite Aunt Ann. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband, of 9 years, Bill Zadnik; her children Earl Trimble and his wife Renee, Eric Trimble and his wife Denise; her daughter Laurie Ruppersberger and her husband Dr. Andrew; her step-children Karen Gana, Sandy Zadnik, and Bill Zadnik. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Eva, Ethan, Easton, Elana, Egan, Elin, and Eli Ruppersberger, Brett, Bryce, Brady, and Anna Trimble, Abigail Trimble, Brittany Zadnik, Amanda Zadnik, and Colin and Matthew Gana; and her mother Jean Howland and her husband Gilbert. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wed., 7pm-9pm, and Thurs., 10am, at Swartz Givnish Life Celebration Home, 323 Washington Ave., Newtown, PA, where funeral services will begin at 11am. Interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery.
