Isabella Marchese

Isabella Z. Marchese of Levittown, PA, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2014 at Legacy Gardens surrounded by her loving family. She was 89. Born and raised in Bristol Borough, she was a resident of Falls Township and Middletown Township for many years before moving to Levittown 5 years ago. Isabella was a retired employee of the State of PA where she worked in Levittown finding and placing hopeful unemployed people in jobs around the area. Isabella was a very happy and upbeat person who used her singing talent to amuse and show her love to children. She will be remembered as a kind and gentle woman who was loved by all. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Marchese; her sister and best friend Emma Straccio and her husband Art; and her nephew Arthur Straccio Jr. She will be greatly missed by her nephews John Straccio and his wife Margie (nee: Messina); her brother Toni Zanni and his wife Edith; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tues., 9-10:15am, at Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Rd., Levittown. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am at St. Ann Church. Interment will follow in Bristol Cemetery. The family requests memorial contributions in her name be made to Legacy Gardens, 2022 Bath Rd., Bristol, PA 19007.
