John Rusnak

August 2, 1922 — April 20, 2014

John G. Rusnak, age 91, of Bristol Township, passed away on April 20, 2014, at Silver Lake Nursing Home. Born in Passaic, NJ, he was a long-time resident of Bristol Borough before moving to Bristol Township over 25 years ago. John proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II in the 99th Infantry Division. He was a former employee of Kaiser Metal Co. in Bristol, and retired from Strick Trailer in Langhorne, PA. John always enjoyed working with his hands. He spent most of his retirement years making metal tools on his lathe and milling machine. He also spent countless hours tending to his vegetable garden; sharing fresh vegetables with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Helen (nee: Sargent) Rusnak; and brother George Rusnak.   He will be greatly missed by his sister Olga Gdyra; brother Emil Rusnak and his wife Angie (nee: DiPalma); and many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, 6:30pm, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road in Levittown where Panikhida will begin at 7pm. Friends may also attend his Funeral Mass 10am on Tuesday at St. Vladimir’s Russian Orthodox Church (corner of Stanton & Grand Sts., Trenton, NJ). Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
