Nancy Mathews

Nancy A. Mathews of Levittown, PA, passed away suddenly on April 22, 2014, at her residence due to a long illness. She was 71. Born and raised in Lancaster, PA, she moved to Bucks County in 2005. Nancy was a retiree of Burnham Corporation where she was a traffic clerk and a member of the Lancaster Traffic Club. She was previously employed at “Playskool” as a supervisor. Nancy was an avid book reader; and she enjoyed volunteering at the fire department Bingo, fishing, camping, concerts, and going to see her favorite arena football team “The Philadelphia Soul.” She also really enjoyed playing board games and card games with her family. She was a proud pet-lover, and provided a loving home to numerous “rescued” pets over her lifetime. She is preceded in death by her loving husband William of 26 years; her parents Henry and Gladys Chant; and her brother Kenneth Chant. Nancy will be greatly missed by her devoted daughter Jennifer Greener; her son-in-law Matthew Greener; her sister-in-law Corinne Easton; and her nephew Scott Chant. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thurs., 7pm-8pm, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road, Levittown, PA 19057. Funeral Service will begin at 8pm.
