Frank Badolato Sr.

Frank J. Badolato Sr., age 84, of Bristol Borough, passed away peacefully on Tues., April 15, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. Born and raised in the Frankford section of Philadelphia. He met and married his former wife Yolanda Scenna Badolato of Bristol. Together they raised a family of three Deborah (Debbie) Greenleaf, Frank Jr. and Michael. He was a retired welder/pipefitter for Rohm & Haas Corp in Bristol. Mr. Badolato was also a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran. He enjoyed bowling with his wife, and golfing with friends and neighbors, but mostly watching the Eagles and Phillies. In his later years he enjoyed daily walks with his faithful dog Ruby and socializing with local residents. He is predeceased by his parents Joseph Badolato and Mary Concetta Giannini Badolato (originally of the province of Catanzaro in the Calabria region of southern Italy) his siblings Dominick and Anthony Badolato, Mary Fudali, Immaculata (Dolly) Capille , and Joanne Radziszewski. He will also be greatly missed by Deborah’s husband Thomas Greenleaf of Bensalem, his adoring grandchildren James Bost II and wife Kelly, and Jennifer Smyth and husband David; and great grandchildren Skyler Bost, Sage Bost, James (Tre) Bost III, Drew Hanna Smyth, David (D.J. ) Smyth, and Owen Smyth; his sister Rose Stalker who he frequently communicated with, and sisters-in-law Eleanor and Irene Badolato. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tues., 7pm-9pm, and Wed., 10am-11am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe St., Bristol. Funeral service will begin 11am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery. The family requests memorial contributions be made to Woman’s Humane Society, 3839 Richlieu Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020.
