John Klein

John T. Klein passed away April 4, 2014 at the age of 93. Born in Girardville, PA, and raised in Mahanoy City, he served in the Navy from 1942 to 1946. He surveyed Levittown, worked at U.S. Steel, was an original Levittown homeowner, and was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish. He read widely and was a life-long sports fan. He was the son of Ewald & Catherine Klein, and his siblings Bill, Mary  Beth who preceded him in death.  He is survived by his wife Mary o 63 years, his son Michael Klein & his wife Joan, & many nieces & nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, 9:30-10:15am, at Queen of the Universe Church in Levittown. Church Mass will begin at 10:30am. Interment at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
