April 16, 1956 — March 18, 2014

Ellen Seneca (nee: Blondek), age 57, of Cookstown, NJ, passed away suddenly at her home on Wed., March 18, 2014. Born in Neptune, NJ, she lived in Wickatunk, NJ, for many years and eventually moved to Cookstown in 1996. She was a former employee of the Ft. Dix Budget Office and eventually retired from Pemberton Township School District where she worked as a nurse’s aide. She was an active member of the New Jersey Education Association. She was also co-founder of Cookstown Salt Water Angler Club and loved fishing, crabbing, and having yard sales; and was a tireless volunteer, making flyers for various fund raising organizations. Ellen was a loving and caring wife and mother who was loved by all who met her, including the doctors and assistants of Presbyterian Hospital who thought of her as family. She was predeceased by her sister Agnes Holton and will be sadly missed by her husband Tony Seneca Jr.; her son Tony Seneca III and his fiancé Marla Bromley both of Browns Mills, NJ; and her sister Joan Blondek and brother-in-law Bill Holton both of Whiting, NJ. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Peggy Pucino and husband Joe of Bristol, PA, and John Seneca and his wife Pat of Levittown; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, 6pm-9pm and Monday 9:30-11am at Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street in Bristol. Funeral service will begin 11am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Burlington, NJ. The family requests contributions in her name be made to Presbyterian Hospital, 38th & Market Streets, Phila., PA 19104.
