John Costantini Jr.

December 18, 1933 — March 11, 2014

John Costantini Jr., age 80, of Yardley, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Chandler Hall surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Bristol Borough, John was a retired Regional Manager for Chrysler Credit Corporation. He was a Korean War Veteran and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was also involved with the Moose Lodge 1169, the American Legion, the Fifth Ward Italian Mutual Aid, the Sons of Italy, and most recently a charter member of Bristol Alumni & Athletic Association; which he took much pride in organizing the Golf Outing each year. John was a long-time member of The Presbyterian Church of Levittown. He was an avid reader and had a great passion for the Eagles, Phillies, and Penn State football. Although John cherished his association with his hometown of Bristol, he most looked forward to his annual winters playing golf and enjoying life at his winter home in Florida. He was a long-time member of Spring Mill Country Club in Ivyland and Aberdeen Country Club in Boynton Beach.  John was a kind and gentle man. He was happiest when he was surrounded by his family; especially his granddaughter Gianna who he endearingly called “Bella” since the day she was born. He was predeceased by his parents Giovanni and Assunta (nee: Carmasine); a sister Marie Grove; and a brother-in-law Joe Santy. He will be greatly missed by his wife Jennie (nee: Bono); his daughter Cindy Ordini and Jay Mergaman of Washington Crossing, and son John Costantini III of Yardley; and his adoring granddaughter Gianna. He is also survived by his sisters Vilma Santy and Diane Piffatt (Andy); and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call Tues., 7pm-9pm, and Wed., 9:30am-11am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street in Bristol. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:30am at St. Ann Church in Bristol. Interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Deborah Hospital Foundation, 212 Trenton Rd., Browns Mills, NJ 08015, in memory of John Costantini Jr. To order memorial trees or send flowers to the family in memory of John Costantini Jr., please visit our flower store.
