Carmela Ventriglia

Carmela Ventriglia, age 87, of Bristol Borough, passed away peacefully on Monday, Jan. 6, 2014 at Silver Lake Rehab in Bristol Township. Carmela was a seamstress for Sol Friedman (the slip factory) in Bristol Borough for 44 years. She was a loyal and faithful parishioner of St. Ann Church for her entire life. She will be remembered by all, sitting on her Penn Street porch with her beloved late sister Josephine from whom she was inseparable. Carm will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Maria Assunta (nee: Lombra); her brothers Morris and John; and sisters Congetta, Katherine, Jennie, Margie, and Annie. She was the loving aunt of numerous nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Friday, 10am, at St. Ann Church. Interment will follow in St. Mark Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations to St. Ann Church, 357 Dorrance Street, Bristol, PA 19007.
