Josephine Pica

Josephine Pica, age 85, of Bristol Borough, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 2014, at Aria Bucks Hospital with her loving family by her side. A life-long resident of Bristol Borough, she resided with her family in the house she was born. She was a retired employee of Sol Friedman & Sons (the slip factory) in Bristol Borough. She enjoyed trips to the Casino, Bingo, and watching game shows on T.V.; but most of all she adored her family. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Theresa (nee: Capecci) Pica; her brothers Danny Pica and his wife Pauline, Louis Pica, and Mario Pica; her sister Mary Gerome and her husband Jerry; and brother-in-law Arthur Memmi Sr. She will be greatly missed by her sister Lee Memmi with whom she resided; her sisters-in-law Emma Pica and Faye Pica; her numerous nieces and nephews especially Deborah and Steve Melling, Arthur Jr., Janet and George Gatto, and Karen Memmi; and many great nieces and nephews that she truly adored. Relatives and friends are invited to call Sat., 9-10:30am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe Street, Bristol. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am at St. Ann Church. Interment will follow in St. Mark Cemetery. The family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Ann Church, 357 Dorrance St., Bristol, PA 19007.
