Joan Barna

Joan D. Barna (nee: Hassler), age 81, of Bensalem, PA, passed away peacefully at Aria Hospital Torresdale Division on December 11, 2013. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she moved to Levittown in 1952 as one of the original homeowners. Joan was a retired employee of Educational Testing Service in Princeton, NJ. She was an active member of the 1st Presbyterian Church in Levittown. She was preceded in death by her husband, and father of her children, Charles James Priest Sr.; and her second husband Joe Barna. She will be missed by her children Charles Priest Jr. and his wife Carol (nee: Fioravanti) of Bensalem, and Frank and John Priest both of Levittown; her 3 granddaughters Candace, Bridget, and Juliet Priest; and 2 great grandchildren Angelina and Joshua. All are invited to her memorial service 12noon on Sat., December 21, at 1st Presbyterian Church, 5918 Emilie Road in Levittown.
