Anita Tamburello

Anita Tiso Tamburello (nee: Aquilone) of Bristol, PA, passed away peacefully at Lower Bucks Hospital on December 4, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was 94. Born in Downingtown, PA, she was a long-time resident of Bronx, New York, before moving to Bristol Borough in 1949. For the last 21 years, she was been living with her daughter in Levittown. Anita enjoyed singing with the Middletown Senior Center, going to Silver Sneakers exercise classes at the YMCA, and going to lunch at her favorite place the Dallas Diner. Anita was a former employee of Atlantic Tea Packing Company in Bristol, PA. She is preceeded in death by her husband, and the father of her children, James Tiso; her second husband Philip Tamburello; her son James A. Tiso; and her siblings Joseph, Louis, Frank, John, Rose, and Pauline. Anita will be greatly missed by her 4 children Frank Tiso and his wife Mary Joe, Nicki Tiso, Tony Tiso, and Roe Tiso-Cuskley and her husband Chris. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and her sisters Terry Trogdon, Carmella Hamilton, and Aida Papotto. Relatives and friends are invited to call Monday, 7pm-9pm, at the Galzerano Funeral Home in Bristol, PA, and again Tuesday, 8:30am-9:30am. Funeral Mass, 10am, at St. Ann Church. Interment is private.
